Remove outer ring for viscous fan -arrows-.
Remove electric fan.

Hold fan pulley with pin wrench 3212 and unscrew fan with open-end wrench 3312 (left-hand thread).

Remove viscous fan together with outer ring.

Notes: 
-

Mark direction of rotation of the ribbed belt with chalk or felt pen before removing. A used belt can break if it rotates in the wrong direction.

When re-installing a used ribbed belt, be sure the belt runs in the right direction and seats correctly on the belt pulleys.
