Side curtain airbag

Insert securing pin in guide hole below threaded hole.
-

Install bolts - 5 -.
Tightening torque: 5.5 Nm

Install bolts - 5 -.

Tightening torque: 5.5 Nm

Tension strap
-

Install bolts - 4 -.
Tightening torque: 5.5 Nm

Do not rotate module when installing bolts - 4 -.

Press catches - A - and disconnect connector in direction of arrow.

Use a screwdriver to pry out clip - 1 -.

NOTE:
-

After connecting battery, vehicle options (radio, clock, electric window regulator) must be checked according to repair manual and/or user
manual.

-

If the Airbag Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) - K75 - signals a malfunction, DTC memory must be erased and then checked again using the
VAG1551 scan tool.
