Power Steering Gear, Removing and Installing

Work to be carried out after completing repairs, Refer to Power Steering Gear Servicing.

Removing 

^

Remove battery.

CAUTION!  Move steering wheel to center position and do not turn while performing repairs, otherwise the coil connector of the airbag unit
could be damaged.

Remove ignition key with steering wheel in center position.

^

Move steering wheel slightly so that the steering lock engages.

Pry off trim at bottom -arrows,

Remove trim -arrows-.
