Check for presence of fitting sleeve -A-.

Place gasket.

^

Install intermediate flange for front final drive.

CAUTION!

If the intermediate flange is not placed carefully on the pinion shaft, the sealing lips of the gasket can be damaged (arrow).

Tighten screws (arrows) by hand and then bring to final torque.

Note:

When first tightening the bolls by hand, make sure that the slot between the intermediate flange for front final drive cover and the transmission
housing decreases uniformly all around the perimeter.

Install distributor gear.

^

Change or top off ATF after repair
