Carefully pull screen unit - 1 - out of instrument panel - 2 -.

-

Disconnect harness connector on screen.

-

Disconnect harness connector to Open-Close Display Motor (V301).

-

To do so, remove driver's side storage tray.

The screen can be separated from the screen unit.

-

Remove bolts - arrows - (2 Nm).

-

Disengage screen - 1 - from mount - 2 -. 

-

Loosen cable ties.

Vehicles without emergency release

Proceed as follows for vehicles without the emergency release and malfunctioning Open-Close Display Motor (V301): 

-

Remove right and left vents from screen. 

-

Remove panel above glove compartment. 

-

Remove instrument cluster panel.

-

Remove panel for Front Information Display Control Head (J685).

-

Pry the mount for panel - 1 - out of screen unit -  2 - - arrows -.
