Installing

First install bracket.

-

Installation of the rear view camera system control module is the reverse of removal.

Perform calibration. Refer to => [ Rearview Camera System, Calibrating ] See: Testing and Inspection.

Rearview Camera

Switch off all electrical consumers.

-

Remove the key.

Removing

‹› The rear view camera (R189) is equipped with a trailing cable. The couplings to the vehicle wiring harness are located at the left below the vehicle

tool kit box.

-

Remove the rear lid trim panel.

-

Remove the screw - 1 - (4 Nm).

-

Remove retaining plate - 2 -.

The rear view camera - 3 - is secured to handle trim.

-

Remove rear view camera - 3 - with a suitable tool from the grip piece.
