Vent Frame, Checking

Check ventilation channels to both ventilation frames -  A - in luggage compartment left and right for throughput.

‹› Sealing lips - B - in air extraction outlets -  A - must move freely and close automatically.

‹› Blocked channels or jammed sealing lips may cause windows to fog up. 

‹› In this illustration, ventilation frame is depicted with rear bumper removed.

‹› One vent frame is installed on left and right for forced air extraction. 

‹› So that sealing lips - B - close correctly, ventilation frame - A - must be installed on proper side smaller radius -  C - at top.

‹› To ensure proper function of passenger compartment ventilation, vent openings - C - in luggage compartment trim on left and right must not be

sealed.
