Backrest Heating Element

‹› Backrest heating element of center section is riveted to cover. If heating element is malfunctioning, cover must be replaced.

-

Remove seat => [ Seat ] See: Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Power Memory Front Seats.

Mount the fixture for seat repair (VAS 6136) on the engine and transmission holder (VAS 6095).

Attach the front seat to the fixture for seat repair (VAS 6136).

Remove the backrest => [ Front Backrest ] See: Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Power Memory Front Seats.

Remove cover and cushion of backrest => [ Front Seat Cushion and Upholstery, Power Memory Seats ] See: Service and Repair/Overhaul/Seats -
Upholstery, Covers/Front Seat Cushion and Upholstery, Power Memory Seats.

-

Replace cover with backrest heating element.
