Remove protective cap from brake caliper, e.g. using Trim Removal Wedge 3409.

-

Remove seal.

-

Use Trim Removal Wedge 3409 - 2 - for this.

Piston Resetting Tool T10145 - 1 -.

Note:

When removing make sure that the surface of the cylinder is not damaged.

Installing

-

The surface of the piston and seal must only be cleaned with mineral spirits and then dried.

-

Thinly coat piston and seal with assembly paste before inserting.

-

Insert inner seal in brake caliper groove using Trim Removal Wedge 3409.

-

Press in protective cap using special tool - 1 - and - 2 -.

-

Item - 1 - assembly tool for protective caps T10146/5.

-

Item - 2 - piston resetting tool T10145.

Use protective backings.
