Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

‹› Hose clip pliers (VAG 1921)

‹› Drip tray for VAS 6100 (VAS 6208)

Removing

CAUTION!
Cover the expansion tank cap with a cloth and open carefully, as hot steam and/or hot coolant may escape when opening.

Remove the coolant expansion tank cap.

-

Loosen the noise insulation fasteners - 1 - and remove the noise insulation.

‹› Ignore - 2, 3 and 4 -.

-

Remove the front part of the wheel housing liner on the left and right front.

-

Remove the front bumper cover.

-

Place the (VAS 6208) under the engine.
