Disconnect connector at respective solenoid valve.

Connect voltage test lamp (VAG1527) using cables from connector test kit (VAG1594) to sockets 1 (B+) and 2 of connector for respective
solenoid valve.

Operate starter for a few seconds. Engine may also start up during this.
Diode test lamp must blink during activation of camshaft adjustment.
If LED lights up continuously.

Check wire connection of socket 2 of respective connector of solenoid valve for camshaft adjustment for short circuit to Ground (GND).
If voltage test lamp does not blink.
