Affected Vehicles
CONDITION
The customer may report:
^ The inside of the taillight lens is fogged up.
^ Large drops of water may or may not be forming inside the taillight.
The function of the taillight is not affected.
TECHNICAL BACKGROUND
Humid air settles on the inside of the lens. This is a naturally-occurring phenomenon.
Large water drops or even accumulations are caused by a leak in the taillight. Poorly fitting covers, damaged seals or a cracked lens is usually the root
cause.
