steering column switch module (SCSM).

Disengage Cruise Control Switch (E45) - item 1 - from steering column switch module (SCSM).

Remove bolt - 5 - and remove retaining bracket - 4 -.
Installing
Install in reverse order of removal, observing the following:

Make sure all fasteners and electrical connectors are properly engaged.

Install Steering Column Switch Module (SCSM). Refer to=> [ Steering Column Switch Module ] See: Relays and Modules/Relays and Modules -
Steering and Suspension/Relays and Modules - Steering/Steering Column Control Module/Service and Repair.
