Position adapter (VAG1318/26) - 2 - on return line - 1 -.

Clamp adapter (VAG1318/26) with hose clamp (3094).
‹› Hose clamps must not be placed directly on fuel line, otherwise it may be damaged.

Start engine and run at idle speed.

Wait until pressure has risen, and then switch off ignition. Simultaneously close shut-off valve of fuel injection pressure gauge (VAG1318) (lever
perpendicular to direction of flow).
