Watch pressure drop on gauge.

If pressure falls again, fuel pump return valve leaks.

Replace fuel pump, 

If pressure does not drop:

-

Replace fuel filter with integrated fuel pressure regulator, refer to Repair Manual.

Assembly is reverse of removal, but note the following:

CAUTION!
Before removing pressure gauge, relieve fuel pressure through shut-off valve opening. Hold a container under the connection.

‹› Starting the engine can take up to 15 seconds the first time.

Check fuel system for leaks => [ Fuel System, Checking for Leaks ].

Check DTC Memory.

Read out readiness code => [ Readiness Code, Reading ] See: Computers and Control Systems/Testing and Inspection/Monitors, Trips, Drive
Cycles and Readiness Codes. If DTC memory was erased, readiness code must be generated => [ Readiness Code, Generating ] See: Computers
and Control Systems/Testing and Inspection/Monitors, Trips, Drive Cycles and Readiness Codes.
