Fuel Level Sensor 1, Left Lever-Type Sensor

‹› To remove the lever-type sensor, fuel tank should be completely empty. Procedure to empty the fuel tank. Refer to => [ Fuel Tank,

Draining ] See: Service and Repair/Procedures.

Remove left fuel delivery unit:

‹› Vehicles with MPI engine. Refer to => [ Left Fuel Delivery Unit with Transfer Fuel Pump ] See: Service and Repair/MPI Engines. 

‹› Vehicles with FSI engine. Refer to => [ Left Fuel Delivery Unit with Transfer Fuel Pump ] See: Service and Repair/FSI Engines.

Remove left Fuel Level Sensor 3 (G237) (tubular sensor) out of fuel tank.

-

Release the Fuel Level Sensor (G) - arrow - and pull it off from the mounting.

Installing

-

Insert Fuel Level Sensor (G) into mount until it engages audibly.

Insert Fuel Level Sensor 3 (G237) in fuel tank.

Install left fuel delivery unit:
