Suspension Control Module: Removal and Replacement

Level Control System Control Module

Removing

-

If control module is replaced, select the "Replace" function for the respective control module using the VAS 5051/5052 "Guided Fault Finding"
Function.

Use the vehicle diagnosis, testing and information system (VAS 5051A).

‹› The level control system control module (J197) is installed on the bulkhead behind the glove compartment.

Follow the safety precautions when disconnecting the battery.

-

Disconnect the battery ground cable with the ignition switched off.

-

Remove the glove compartment.

-

Remove the air duct from the control module.

-

Release the connector - 1 - on the control module in the - direction of the arrow - and remove it.

-

Remove the control module - 2 -.

Installing

Installation is performed in the reverse order of removal. Observe the following when doing so:

Level control system control module, readapting. Refer to => [ Level Control System Control Module, Programming ] See: Suspension Control (

Install the air duct on the control module.

-

Install the glove compartment.
