‹› If the oil strainer is replaced, the seal must first be removed.

‹› If the used oil strainer is re-installed, this seal can be re-used.

Note the following when replacing with a new oil strainer:

-

Carefully remove the oil strainer seal - A - from the transmission with a screwdriver.

  ‹› Do not damage sealing surface.

‹› The new oil strainer comes with the seal installed.

‹› When replacing with a new oil strainer, press it into the transmission with the seal already installed.

Continuation for new and old oil strainer:

-

Carefully press the intake neck on the oil strainer - A - into the opening on the transmission as far as the stop.

Install the oil pan. Refer to => [ Oil Pan ] See: Oil Pan.
