Removing

-

Observe notes => [ Driveshaft Assembly Overview ] See: Driveshaft Assembly Overview

Disconnect both tunnel struts - A - and - B -.

-

Remove rear section of exhaust system - C - (rearward of exhaust pipe clamp(s)):

-

Unbolt heat shield - D - for center bearing.

-

Remove bolts - arrows A and B - and take off cover.

‹› Avoid excessive bending of the flexible pipe connection (decoupling element) on the front exhaust pipe. The angle between the front muffler and

the front exhaust pipe must not exceed 10 ° or the flexible connection will be damaged.

Remove nuts securing front mufflers - arrows - and tie up or support front mufflers.
