Parking Aid 

Observe notes on contact corrosion. Refer to => [ Contact Corrosion ] See: Lighting and Horns/Service Precautions.

Removing

-

If the control module was replaced, select the "Replace" function for the respective control module in "Guided Fault Finding" or "Guided
Functions" with the vehicle diagnosis, testing and information system (VAS 5051B).

Select the function or path:

Follow the instructions on the Vehicle Diagnosis Tester display.

Switch off ignition and remove ignition key.

Remove Navigation System with CD Drive Control Module (J401) - item 3 - and installation frame - 2 -.

-

Unplug connectors.

-

Press spring pins - arrows - out of expanding clips.

-

Remove park assist control module (J446) - item 1 -.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal, observing the following:

If the park assist control module was replaced, then it must be re-coded with the (VAS 5051B).
