Rear Door Window Regulator

1 - Assembly Carrier

‹› Remove the assembly carrier. Refer to => [ Rear Door Assembly Carrier ] See: Service and Repair/Rear Door Assembly Carrier.

‹› Place the new window regulator on the assembly carrier as illustrated.

‹› Pay attention the cables.

‹› Pay attention to the rivet sequence. 

‹› Rivet the window regulator first at the top and then at the bottom with one rivet.

‹› Rivet the first and second top rivets.

2 - Aluminum Rivet

‹› Use pop rivet pliers (V.A.G 1753A).

3 - Tappet

‹› The door window is guided inside the carrier.

4 - Window Regulator Motor Mount
