5 - Steel Rivet

‹› Use pop rivet pliers (V.A.G 1753A).

6 - Window Regulator

‹› Removing:

‹› The upper and lower rivets are drilled out and the rivet shafts are struck through.

‹› Compress the catches on the threaded pins on the window regulator motor mount from the inside and slide the mount out.

‹› Remove the window regulator from the assembly carrier.

‹› Installing:

‹› Mount the window regulator on the assembly carrier as illustrated.

‹› Pay attention the cables.

‹› Push the threaded pins all the way into the assembly carrier.

‹› The threaded pins must audibly engage into the assembly carrier.

‹› Rivet the window regulator using pop rivet pliers (V.A.G 1753 A).
