Brake Rotor/Disc: Service and Repair

Front Wheel Ceramic Brakes, PR-1LW

Brake Disc

The brake disc ring and the brake disc cup are attached to each other and must never be separated. Never loosen the threaded connector
on the brake disc cup.

Raise vehicle.

Remove wheels.

If brake pads are ceramics, wheel must not fall on brake disc, otherwise it will be irreparably damaged. To install/remove wheel, install
two assembly pins from vehicle tool kit in mounts on wheel bolts. The long assembly pin is in the upper position.

Remove the brake caliper at the bolt - 10 -. Refer to => [ Brake Caliper ] See: Service and Repair/Front Wheel Ceramic Brakes, PR-1LW/Brake
Caliper

‹› Do not let the brake caliper with the brake carrier hang from the brake hose. Secure it to the body with suitable cable ties or wire. Do not support

the weight with the brake hose.

‹› Do not loosen the bolt - 1 - to remove the brake caliper.

Remove the securing bolt - 6 - on the brake disc while holding the disc firmly.

Remove the brake disc from the wheel hub.

‹› When removing the brake disc from the wheel hub, do not tilt the disc.
