Electromechanical Parking Brake

Removing

-

Remove battery.

-

Pull locking slide in direction of - arrow - and remove connector - 1 -.

-

EPB control module - 2 -

-

Remove nuts - 1 -.

-

Remove EPB control module item - 2 -

Installing

Installation is in reverse order of removal, with special attention to the following:

-

Install nuts - 1 -, tightening torque 10 Nm

-

If control module is replaced, select "Replace" function for respective control module in "Guided Fault Finding".

 Vehicle Diagnosis, Testing and Information System (VAS 5051).
