  Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

‹› Brake charger/bleeder unit (VAS 5234)

‹› or

‹› Brake charger/bleeder unit (V.A.G 1869 A)

‹› Sealing plugs repair kit part no. 1H0 698 311A

Removing

-

Remove driver's side storage compartment.

-

Remove plenum chamber cover.

Extract brake fluid with (V.A.G 1869) or (VAS 5234)

-

Open brake fluid reservoir.

-

To protect against escaping brake fluid, place a lint-free rag in the area under the brake master cylinder.

-

Extract as much brake fluid as possible from brake fluid reservoir with the (VAS 5234) or (V.A.G 1869/4).
