Bottom Section Of Housing And Air Distributor Housing, Disassembly And Reassembly

1. Seal

-

Replace

2. Frame with recirculation opening
3. Air conditioner unit wiring harness

-

Different versions for vehicles with and without Rear A/C Control Head (Climatronic) E265, vehicles manufactured up to and as of 12.03
(different grommets)

Electrical connections at air conditioner unit

NOTE:

-

Mark all connectors before unplugging them from electrical components (to avoid interchange).

-

After assembly, re-attach all wiring harness holders removed.

-

Seal grommets in plenum chamber through which wiring harness is routed into air conditioner unit (to Fresh Air Blower Control module
J126) or beneath covers (to Air Flow Flap Motor V71 and to Recirculation Flap Motor V113) with silicone adhesive sealing material D
176 001 A3 (to stop water running through grommet or past grommet into air conditioner unit or to control motor).

4. Bottom section of housing
5. Pipe holder

For top left coolant pipe

6. Pipe holder

-

For bottom left coolant pipe

7. Oval head self-tapping screw
8. Pipe holder

-

For right coolant pipes

9. Socket

-

For bottom left coolant pipe

10. Socket

For top left coolant pipe
