Refrigerant Circuit

Reservoir

‹› Depending on vehicle model, reservoir is available in different versions and for different component locations.

‹› On vehicles with 8 cylinder. diesel engine, reservoir - A - can be removed from above without removing bumper.

Removing

-

Drain the refrigerant circuit.

-

Remove front bumper not for vehicles with 8 cylinder diesel engine.

-

Bring lock carrier to service position not for vehicles with 8 cylinder diesel engine.

Remove the charge air cooler or secondary air injection pump motor if necessary. This is not necessary on all vehicles.

Remove bolts - A - and disconnect refrigerant lines -  B - and - C -.

-

Remove bolts - D -.

-

Remove reservoir.

‹› Seal open pipe connections.

‹› Attachment of refrigerant pipes differs depending on engine version.
