Relay and Fuse Panel in Plenum Chamber E-Box

Removing

  ‹› All cable ties opened or cut during engine removal must be reinstalled at the same locations during installation.

With ignition switched off, disconnect battery ground (ND) wire. Refer to => [ Battery, Disconnecting and Connecting ] See: Starting and
Charging/Tools and Equipment/Battery, Disconnecting and Connecting.

Remove rubber seal - 1 - on plenum chamber covers.

Remove plenum chamber covers - 2 - and - 3 -.

-

Remove dust and pollen filter.

  ‹› Cover air duct at air conditioner housing with clean cloth to stop anything falling in.

Remove wiper arms. Refer to => [ Windshield Wiper Arms ] See: Wiper and Washer Systems/Wiper Arm/Service and Repair/Removal and
Replacement.

Remove the bolts at the left and right - arrows - for the cowl panel grille - 1 -.

The cowl panel trim could be damaged.

‹› Coat the transition between the windshield and cowl panel trim with some soapy water and carefully pull the cowl panel trim - 1 -
