Secondary Air Injection Combination Valves, Checking for Function and Leaks

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

‹› Hand Vacuum Pump (VAS 6213)

Procedure

-

Pull rear engine cover off - arrows -.

-

Remove the vacuum hose - 3 - from the secondary air injection combination valve - 2 -.

-

Remove the secondary air hose - 1 - by pressing the release buttons.

-

Connect the Hand Vacuum Pump (VAS 6213) to the vacuum connection - 1 - on the secondary air combination valve that will be tested.
