Removing
‹› During installation, all cable ties must be re-installed at the same location.
CAUTION!
Risk of destroying electrical components when battery is disconnected.
‹› Observe measures when disconnecting battery.

With ignition switched off, disconnect Battery Ground (GND) cable.

Remove rear engine cover - arrows -.

Drain coolant. Refer to => [ Cooling System, Draining and Filling ] See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Cooling System/Service and
Repair/Procedures.

Remove right coolant pipe. Refer to => [ Right Coolant Pipe ] See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Cooling System/Coolant Line/Hose/Service and
Repair/Right Coolant Pipe.

Remove ribbed belt. Refer to => [ Ribbed Belt ] See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Engine/Drive Belts, Mounts, Brackets and Accessories/Drive

Remove generator.

Remove right front muffler. Refer to => [ Right Front Muffler ] See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Exhaust System/Muffler/Service and
Repair/Right Front Muffler.

Remove electrical harness connectors from bracket and disconnect it:
