Multimedia Signal Splitter

CAUTION!
‹› Switch off all electrical components.

‹› Switch off ignition and remove ignition key.

Removing

-

Remove left luggage compartment side trim => Body Interior 70 Trim. 

-

Remove bolt - 2 - (3 Nm).

-

Remove Navigation System with CD Drive Control Module (J401) with mounting frame - 1 - => [ Navigation System with CD Drive Control
Module ] See: Accessories and Optional Equipment/Navigation System/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement.

-

Remove nuts - 3 -, - 5 -, and -  6 - (3 Nm).

-

Carefully pull mounting frame - 4 - out of installation recess and disconnect harness connectors.

-

If present, remove Satellite Radio (R146) => [ Satellite Radio, through MY 2005 ] See: Accessories and Optional Equipment/Radio, Stereo, and
Compact Disc/Service and Repair/Radio System.

-

Disconnect harness connectors at Multimedia Signal Splitter (R181).

-

Remove threaded pins - 2 - and - 5 -.
