Airbag Control Module

CAUTION!

CAUTION!
On vehicles equipped with Audi Telematics by OnStar, switch-off emergency (back-up) battery for Telematic/Telephone Control Module
prior to disconnecting vehicle battery. Switch-on emergency (back-up) battery after reconnecting vehicle battery

Removing

‹› The battery must be disconnected when the ignition is switched on.

Switch on ignition.

-

Disconnect the battery ground strap.

-

Remove center console => [ Center Console without Extension ] See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Console/Service and
Repair/Center Console without Extension.

Separate insulation at perforation.

-

Open securing clip - 3 - on connector - 4 -.

-

Remove connector - 4 -.

-

Remove nuts - 2 - (Qty. 3).

‹› Tightening torque: 9 Nm.

Remove control module - 1 -.

Installing

CAUTION!
On vehicles equipped with Audi Telematics by OnStar, switch-off emergency (back-up) battery for Telematic/Telephone Control Module
prior to disconnecting vehicle battery. Switch-on emergency (back-up) battery after reconnecting vehicle battery

Install control module - 1 - in reverse order of removal.
