Fuel Level Sensor 2, Right Lever Sensor

Removing

CAUTION!
‹› To remove the lever-type sensor, fuel tank should be completely empty. Procedure to empty the fuel tank. Refer to => [ Fuel Tank,

Draining ] See: Powertrain Management/Fuel Delivery and Air Induction/Fuel Tank/Service and Repair/Procedures.

Remove the right fuel delivery unit:

‹› Vehicles with MPI engine. Refer to => [ Right Fuel Delivery Unit with Fuel Pump ] See: Powertrain Management/Fuel Delivery and Air

Induction/Service and Repair/MPI Engines. 

‹› Vehicles with FSI engine. Refer to => [ Right Fuel Delivery Unit with Fuel Pump ] See: Powertrain Management/Fuel Delivery and Air

Induction/Service and Repair/FSI Engines.

Remove right Fuel Level Sensor 4 (G393) (tubular sensor) out of fuel tank.

-

Release the Fuel Level Sensor 2 (G169) -  arrow - and pull it off from the mounting.

Installing

-

Insert Fuel Level Sensor 2 (G169) in mount until it engages audibly.

Insert Fuel Level Sensor 4 (G393) in fuel tank.

Install the right fuel delivery unit:
