Relay Carrier in Right Front Footwell

Removing

-

With ignition switched off, disconnect battery Ground (GND) wire. Refer to=> [ Battery, Disconnecting and Connecting ] See: Battery/Service
and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Battery.

-

Remove glove compartment => Body Interior 68 Removal and Installation. 

-

Remove lower A-pillar trim. 

-

Fold back floor carpet.

-

Remove footrest.

-

Disconnect relay - 1 -.

-

Remove bolts - arrows - and detach relay carrier from bulkhead.

-

Disconnect relays/fuses from relay carrier.

-

Unclip fuse boxes and relay carriers at relay carrier.

‹› Precise assignment of relay carrier in front right footwell can be seen from appropriate wiring diagram.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal, observing the following:

Install lower A-pillar trim. 

-

Install glove compartment => Body Interior 68 Removal and Installation.

Connect battery. Refer to=> [ Battery, Disconnecting and Connecting ] See: Battery/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Battery.
