Remove the coupling rod nut (not pictured). Counter hold at the stud - 4 - when doing this.

Remove the bolts - 2 -.

-

Remove the level control system sensor - 3 -.

Installing

Installation is performed in the reverse order of removal. Observe the following when doing so:

The sensor lever must point forward.

Tighten the bolts - 2 - to 5 Nm.

Tighten the new coupling rod nut (not pictured) to 8 Nm. Counter hold at the stud - 4 - when doing this.

Readapt the control position. Refer to => [ Control Position, Programming ] See: Suspension/Suspension Control ( Automatic - Electronic
)/Description and Operation/Level Control System.

If the control position was reprogrammed on vehicles with lane assist, the directional stabilization assistance control module must be calibrated.
Refer to => [ Lane Assist Calibration ] See: Alignment/Service and Repair/Procedures/Lane Assist Calibration.

Perform the headlamp basic setting.
