Remove the bolt - 1 - for the pressure line bracket.

Place a cloth under the separation point to absorb any leaking hydraulic fluid.

Disconnect the pressure line connection - 2 -.

Install the (VAG 1402) after disconnecting pressure line, as shown in the illustration.
