Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required
‹› Torque wrench (5-50 Nm) (VAG 1331)
Removing
‹› The front body acceleration sensors are installed on the right and left strut mounts.

Remove the seal - 1 -.
-
Remove the plenum chamber covers - 2 and 3 -.
-
Disconnect the electrical connector - 1 -.
-
Remove the electrical connector - 2 - from the bracket - 3 -.
-
Remove the bolt - arrow - and the body acceleration sensor - 4 -.
Installing
Installation is performed in the reverse order of removal. Observe the following when doing so:
