Wheel Run Out Compensation

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

‹› Brake pedal actuator (VAG 1869/2)

Perform the wheel run out compensation.

The lateral run out of the wheel must be compensated for. Otherwise, measurement will result in false readings.

‹› Permissible axial run out of the wheels can exceed the specified toe setting tolerance. If compensation for wheel run out is not performed, it will

not be possible to obtain a correct toe in adjustment.

For this, observe notes by the manufacturer of the wheel alignment equipment.
