Seat Heater: Service and Repair
Rear Seat Covers and Cushions

Seatback Heating Element Or Seat Heating Element, Replacing

CAUTION:  Note safety specifications when working on airbag.

NOTE:  Both rear seats do not have heat elements installed on seatback and seat cushion.

CAUTION:  For vehicles with side airbag seat-heat element for back seat is combined with occupied seat sensor and can only be replaced
together.

Remove seatback or seat cover.

Heating Element (pushed Into Cover), Removing And Installing

NOTE:  The removal and installation of the rear heating element is the same as the front seatback heating element.

Heating element (bonded), removing and installing

-

Disconnect electrical wiring directly at seat cushion.

-

Bond new heating element on old heating element.

CAUTION:  Note instructions for seatback, or to install seat.
