Water Pump: Service and Repair

NOTE:  During removal and installation procedures, refer to the component location illustration above and component notes below.

Coolant Pump

Gasket

Torx Bolt, tighten to: 10 Nm (7 ft. lbs.).

Removal

1. Remove camshaft timing belt, refer to Timing Belt, Service and Repair, Camshaft Drive Belt, Removing & Installing  See: Timing

Components/Timing Belt/Service and Repair

2. Unbolt timing belt tensioning device.
3. Remove coolant pump (9 Torx bolts).

Installation

Reverse removal to install.
