Catalytic Converter: Adjustments

ALIGNMENT OF TWC

A - 

13-17 mm (approx. 1/2-11/16 inch).

B - 

9 mm (approx. 3/8 inch).

C - Parallel to lower edge of vehicle

NOTES:

The TWC's are shown as viewed from the rear.

The distance from the pipes to the crossmember must be at least 

34 mm {1-11/32 inch).

INSTALLED POSITION OF DOUBLE CLAMPS BETWEEN TWC AND MIDDLE SILENCERS

NOTES:
^

After loosening, the bolted double clamps MUST be replaced.

Double clamps are shown from the rear of the vehicle.

Install double clamps as shown. Bolt ends must not extend beyond lower edge of clamping sleeve.
Nut tightening torque: 

40 Nm (30 ft. lbs.).
