Install bracket -C- per illustration.

-

Remove cover for evaporator.

Removing version "1" evaporator

-

Separate threaded connection -A- in the refrigerant line.
Tightening torque: 15 Nm (11 ft lb)

Remove screw -B-.
Tightening torque: 25 Nm (18 ft lb)

-

Disconnect refrigerant lines from the evaporator.

NOTE:

Replace O-rings -C- and -D-.

Remove screws -A-.
Tightening torque: 5 Nm (44 in lb)

Remove connection piece -C-.

NOTE:

-

Replace O-rings -B-.

-

When installing, make sure that the grommet -D- is correctly located.

-

Remove evaporator.

CAUTION! Immediately plug open connections on A/C components and lines to prevent dirt and moisture contamination

Replacing evaporator.
