Refrigerant Oil: Capacity Specifications
A/C refrigerant system (R-134a), capacities
Refrigerant R-134a
NOTE:
-
When charging system on high pressure side, always use maximum amount of A/C refrigerant, as some refrigerant remains in hoses of refrigerant
recovery, recycling and recharging unit.
-
Since 11.97, valves with different size restrictors are installed (colored). Vehicles with change have 50 g more refrigerant.
-
Drilling of small valve is colored yellow for identification.
Refrigerant (PAG) oil
NOTE: The PAG oil used in refrigerant system Part No. G 052 300 A2.
CAUTION!
Part numbers are for reference only. Always check with your parts department for latest parts in formation.
NOTE:
-
R-134a refrigerant oil (PAG oil) absorbs moisture very rapidly. Moisture combines with the refrigerant to form acids which will damage the
system.
-
Use only specified oil from a sealed container and ALWAYS reseal container immediately after use. DO NOT use oil if it has become
contaminated with moisture or if oil container has been left open.
-
Use only the specified synthetic oil (Polyalkylene Glycol or PAG) for the R-134a refrigerant system.
