Odometer: Description and Operation

CAUTION!

Before working on the electrical system:

Determine the correct coding for the anti-theft radio.

Switch the ignition off.

-

Disconnect the battery Ground (GND) strap.

-

If the instrument cluster combination processor recognizes internal malfunctions that could affect microprocessor memory, "dEF" is displayed in
the LCD.

If "dEF" is displayed in the LCD:
-

Replace complete instrument cluster. See: Instrument Cluster/Service and Repair/Procedures
