Removing
-
Move steering wheel up as far as possible inward and upward.

For vehicles with coded radio/navigation system (RNS) note coding; ask if necessary.

Disconnect battery ground strap/cable and cover battery pole.
-
Remove Torx bolts T30 - 3 - and - 11 - at back side of steering wheel.
-
Carefully fold airbag unit - 5 - to back and remove connector - 2 - from airbag unit.
-
Position airbag unit so impact cushion points upward.
