Seat Belts, Checking

CAUTION:  Seat belt system must be checked systematically after an accident. If damaged is incurred based on test points, customer needs to
be informed about necessity of belt change.

Test points:

Check belt band

-

Check inertia wheel (lock effect)

-

Buckle; visual check

-

Buckle; function check

-

Check D-ring and lock tab

-

Check mounting parts and fastening points

NOTE:  If a customer declines replacement of a damaged seat belt, an appropriate note should be entered.
