Steering Wheel: Removal and Replacement
Steering Wheel(from 07.97 On), Removing And Installing
CAUTION:
-
Note safety specifications when working on airbag.

Steering wheel can be removed only if wheels are in straight ahead position.
-
Removing
-
Remove airbag unit - 5 -.
-
Place steering wheel in center position (wheels straight ahead).
-
Disconnect connectors - 2 - and - 10 - for return ring with spiral spring - 9 -.
-
Remove spline screw - 4 -.
CAUTION: Return ring with spiral spring must not be turned in removed condition.
