Rear Window Regulator, Removing And Installing

Rear door trim removed

Rear window regulator
-

To remove, drill off rivet heads - 2 - and knock out rivet shafts

-

Securely rivet window at point designated by arrow first

Pop rivet (6x)
-

To avoid contact corrosion, use only genuine Audi rivets

Window regulator motor
-

Disconnect harness connector Fig. 1

-

After installing, run window up to stop.

-

Activate all power window switches ("up") for at least one second to activate automatic window raising/lowering.
