Auxiliary Input / Output Jack: Service and Repair

Radio System

External Audio Source Connection, through 29 August 2008

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

‹› Radio Removal Tool (T10057)

‹› Fiber optic plier repair set (VAS 6223)

‹› Protective cap for cable connector (VAS 6223/9)

Switch off all electrical consumers.

Remove the key.

Removing

-

Open glove box.

-

Insert the two clips of the (T10057) into the release slits on the external audio source connection (R199) until they engage. Points on the grip
eyelets of tool face outward.

Pull external audio source connection out of mounting frame.

-

Disconnect all connectors on the external audio source connection.

Attach the (VAS 6223/9) - 1 - onto the MOST-Bus connector - 2 -.
