Connect multimeter between contacts 2 and 3 on connector -A- to measure resistance range.

If the resistance is 0 Ohms. there is a short circuit. If the resistance is x Ohms. there is an open circuit in the wiring.

Note:  To test the maximum and minimum resistance values for "tank full" and "tank empty" remove the Fuel Supply Sensor 3 -G237- and move the
sender float all the way to its top or bottom position.
